The consultancy wing of NTPC which was established in 1989 undertakes consultancy assignments and Project Management Contracts (PMC) for Domestic and International clients in different phases of the power plants. NTPC has emerged as a leader in engineering, construction, O&M, RLA/R&M and management of power projects and hence the company is preferred for consultancy assignments.

Over a period of time, as NTPC’s power projects yielded success, the company’s repute became stronger and it began to receive requests from power companies in India and abroad for its technical expertise and rich experience.

NTPC is registered as a consultant with several leading international development and financial institutions such as World Bank, Asian Development Bank, African Development Bank and United Nations Development Programme.
